Drama

Drama is a form of artistic expression that explores human behaviour, history, society and culture.

Drama helps us to develop skills of connection, empathy, creativity and critical thinking, while allowing us to navigate and reflect on different aspects of life and ourselves.

Pupils deserve a broad and ambitious Drama curriculum, rich in skills and knowledge, which immerses them in a range of theatrical styles from the past and present.

The curriculum will encourage pupils to become confident and independent thinkers, who will be able to create original work, interpret new and classic theatre and critically analyse professional and non-professional repertoire.
